I feel a little ashamed to say that it’s been a good couple of months since I last visited my Animal Crossing Island. I knew when I logged in that I would be welcomed by plenty of rouge flowers and overgrown weeds. I certainly wasn’t wrong. I guess I had just hit a stage in my game where I didn’t really know what I wanted to do next and after this accidental break, I’ve now got an idea of what I want to do next.
Firstly, I needed to go and check in with all my Villagers. They were all happy and pleased to see their Resident Representative too! I made sure to give Pinky some presents as I had missed her birthday by a few days but she loved what I gave here.
Since I last updated the Animal Crossing Diaries, Spike and Jeremiah have now joined the Island of Minoo and have become a part of the local community.
My second task for today was to make a start on tidying up the island. The hardest part was deciding on which part of my island to start. After a quick run around my island, I finally had an idea of just how overgrown my island was, I quickly popped into Nook’s Cranny and emptied my inventory, and made a start.
I decided to start clearing an area of my island where I originally had a lot of my fruit trees. It’s an area of my island that I hadn’t been happy with for quite some time and I had been putting it off on revamping it. I guess now it would make the perfect starting place.
My aim for the next few days (maybe weeks) will be to slowly clear all my overgrown weeds, rouge flowers, and sort out the placement of my trees. Then I will be redecorating, terraforming, and trying to improve my island rating.

With the next Animal Crossing update just a few days away I can’t wait to explore it. I’ve got the perfect location for a little pumpkin patch and I’m looking forward to making my Island all haunted and spooky as well as crafting all of the new items. I still have plenty to explore from the last big update too!
Let me know what you have been up to recently in Animal Crossing New Horizons!
