Let’s Rewind: December

Well, here we are. The last day of the year and of the decade! These past twelve months have really flown by. I’ll keep this last post for twenty-nineteen short and sweet and jump straight into this months Let’s Rewind.

Pokemon Sword & Shield

I’ve been making some slow but steady progress in Pokemon Shield. I’ve spent a good number of hours exploring the Wild Area more than anything and working towards completing the Pokedex. I’m also on the lookout for my first Shiny Pokemon. Despite the number of Pokemon games I’ve played I’ve never caught or seen a Shiny.

I’m hoping to have the main game finished soon but I’m really in no rush to complete it. It’s been one of those games that I can just pick up and carry on from where I last saved.

Death Stranding

This is a pretty new game in my collection. I was very undecided as to whether or not to pick it up and give it a go or not. After weeks of being indecisive and looking out for deals on the game, I managed to pick up a copy from my local Argos for Β£34. I’ve not played the game for very long yet but I’m enjoying what I’ve played so far. I’m interested to see how the story goes but for now, I’m just going to take it one bit at a time and not rush through it.

I haven’t really spent too much time playing many games this month. I’ve picked up The Sims 4 here and there throughout the month but I’ve spent a lot of time with family and friends during the festive season. I am ready to check out some of the recent additions to my collection over the next few weeks that I’m sure will be popping both on here and on my Twitter as I play through them!

That’s it! Twenty-nineteen is a wrap! I hope you all have a fantastic New Year!
