Let’s Rewind: October

This month’s Let’s Rewind is going to be a short and sweet post. It’s had been a fairly quiet start to the month and then really hectic towards the end of the month. If I am being honest, there was a variety of things I wanted to work on and get done but it just didn’t happen. I spent some time focusing on myself and just relaxing so the blog has taken a little bit of a backseat this month. I’m now going into one of the busiest times of the year at work. The joys of working in retail I guess.

However, October has been a positive month overall. While it started off quiet it got busier towards the latter end of the months with a trip to London and EGX at the ExCel Center, birthday celebrations and catching up with friends and family that was long overdue.

On the gaming front, I haven’t started any new games (other than Call of Duty Modern Warfare) but I’ve been playing a mixture of Overwatch (PC), Final Fantasy XIV, The Sims 4 and Untitled Goose Game. I’ve picked up a couple of other games as well which I’m excited to get stuck into at some point. These are Overwatch for Nintendo Switch and Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remastered which I also picked up for Nintendo Switch.

Looking forward to November it is going to be a very busy month for me both in the world of video games as well as everyday life. Need For Speed Heat, Pokemon Sword & Pokemon Sheild and The Sims 4 Discover University all come out within about a week of each other so I’m excited to experience all of these. Need For Speed Heat I will be renting from Boomerang Games and one of the versions of the new Pokemon game is a belated birthday present from a family member. The Sims 4 Discover University I will pick up/pre-order closer to the time.

Let me know what games you are playing right now and what games you are new game releases you are looking forward to!
