I honestly can not believe we are in November already! This year has gone so quick and Christmas is quickly creeping up on us. This year has been a real roller coaster for a number of reasons and not only that it has taught me a lot along the way. I’ve been taking it easy the last few weeks and that time has allowed me to focus on a few different things both personally and for the blog.
Some of my free time I’ve spent catching up and playing some of the new game releases most of which I’ve really been enjoying. Red Dead Redemption 2 is just amazing! I just now need to find some time and balance out when to play each game.
I took a trip into town on Friday to trade in a few of my Nintendo Switch games. There are ones that I’ve completed or just haven’t really played as much as I thought I would. The games I traded in were Mario Tennis Aces, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Harvest Moon: Light of Hope and Disgaea 5. Each of the games that I traded in gave me over half of what I originally paid for the games which I was somewhat surprised at considering how long I’ve had some of the games.
I had a quick browse in GAME to see if there was anything I wanted to pick up but the only thing I bought was an Overwatch Pachimari keyring. I then later discovered that there is a little collection of different themed Pachmarhi’s on Blizzard’s EU Store.
I also picked up a couple of new games last week. The first was Octopath Traveler. I’ve wanted to get this game for a little while now since playing the demo but it always seemed to be out of stock everywhere as a physical copy. Luckily the wait paid off as I managed to find a reasonably priced copy from a local Argos. I can’t wait to get started properly and play all of the different storylines.
The second game I picked up which is more of a repurchase actually was Dissidia Final Fantasy NT on PlayStation 4. I traded this in a few weeks after I got it originally as I just couldn’t get into it properly but recently I’ve been watching a lot of gameplay and streams of the game and it helped me decide to give the game another go.
I’m looking forward to the next few months. It’s going to be busy for a number of reasons but at the same time it’s going to be worth it. I’m also looking forward to sharing some of the things I’ve been working on recently too.
That’s it for today’s blog post. Just a little-chilled out post for today. I’ll be back later in the week with a more normal blog post.
