Five Games I’m Looking Forward To

We’re at the point in the year where there are numerous exciting games being released across a variety of platforms. Some of the games I have been looking forward to having been released already but there are still more that I am looking forward to playing over the next few months.

Fallout 76

When Fallout 76 was first revealed I was a little bit unsure as to how Fallout would work as an online game but with the more information that was released about Fallout 76 the more excited and intruiged, I’ve become for the game.  I’ve always enjoyed the Fallout games and I’m sure Fallout 76 will be no different. For now, I can’t wait to jump in with my friends in November and planning our adventures and survival in the new world of Appalachia!

Red Dead Redemption 2

I was super late to the party with Red Dead Redemption but I did eventually get around to playing and finishing it and I’m so glad that I did because I absolutley loved it! After completing the first game I had a feeling there would be a second Red Dead Redemption game at somepoint. Although I haven’t really read much into the upcoming sequel or watched anything other than a few of the trailers, based on how much I loved playing the first game I am looking forward to the sequel once it is released later this month,

Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Can we just take a moment for when the internet lost all of it’s cool when Nintendo dropped this cheeky reveal video earlier this year! I’m not going to lie I thought and was honestly convinced that it was purely Splatoon 2 related until the Super Smash Bros logo reflection appeared in the Inklings eyes! I have a lot of memories from playing earlier Super Smash Bros games and like many, I can not wait for this new instalment to the franchise.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Call of Duty: Black Ops was the first ever multiplayer online game I had when I first got my Xbox 360 and has still remained one of my favourites to this day. The next installment to the Black Ops franchise is only a mere four days away and I’m excited to soon get back into Zombies and also give the new Battle Royale mode a proper go. I played it briefly in the demo and had lots of fun but I didn’t get to the demo till it was nearing the end.

Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu/Lets Go Eevee

This is partially a throwback to my childhood but also just still being a big kid myself now but I can’t wait to play the next Pokemon adventure. I do like the approach for this game where Pokemon GO is being incorporated into the game. It will definitely help push the games boundaries and although it is not a main storyline game this will help introduce many new players to the world of Pokemon and also bring back many fans of the game too.

There are many games I am looking forward to that I have not mentioned in this blog post. If I did I really would be here for a long time listing them all. Forza Horizon 4 and Assassins Creed Odyssey have also released in the past few days and both games have been getting some incredible reviews and I can’t wait to jump into both of the games at some point in the future.

Let me know what upcoming games you are looking forward!
